Had a meeting today about a shoot next week. It involves surfboards and bikinis so it should be a lot of fun. I look forward to warmer weather and a chance to shoot something with a commercial feel to it.

During the shoots, we are going to be using surfboards from a local shop here in Columbia called Salty’s that’s on Harden Street. They recently moved to a new building and it’s pretty incredible with the roof lighting that’s in it.

And man oh man, the 5DII still amazes me! The 1600 ISO on this shot, would never have gone there in the past. If you look a little harder you are going to be able to see a change this year in wedding photography, in low lighting that is.

So I put that Adam Cross photo up a few weeks back. Just a basic shot straight from the camera. So I figured I would post what the end result ‘look’ ended up like. One of the biggest obstacles I’ve faced with the studio shots is any type of manipulation to the photo has to be done a little different from non studio photography. I plan on taking the studio mobile soon.

Also have a HD video/photoshoot engagement session planned soon….

Here is an actual client album with a new cover we just tried. I love these albums. The one pictured is a 10×10 beautifully handcrafted flush mount album. These professional albums are designed to preserve photographs for years using the highest quality modern archival materials available. What’s really wild is they are waterproof, tear proof and heat resistant.
