When Lisa was getting married she asked me to come shoot her and her bridesmaids at breakfast. She told me the location was Tiffany’s and I figured it was a restaurant I had never heard of in Charlotte. I was a bit surprised when she told me it was Tiffany’s the jewelry store. She was like, “Come on Ash, just like the movie!”
I’d never seen the movie so I decided to check it out before the big day on iTunes. It was definitely a girly movie. I think I spent the next few days getting my man card back.
I did learn Audrey Hepburn was pretty hot! Hepburn carrying an over sized cigarette holder is considered one of the most iconic images of 20th century American cinema. I also learned that one of the dresses she used in the film auctioned for $947,000 in 2006. Wow! The best part would have to have been finding out that the leading man was George Peppard, who also played “Hannibal”, the cigar-chomping leader of a renegade commando squad in the 1980s television show The A-Team. I love it when a plans come to together!
Here’s Lisa at the window just like Audrey Hepburn’s character, Holly Golightly.
Here’s a shot from the opening scene.
Trying on some bling!
Here’s Jennifer sporting a $45,000 ring.
Lisa’s ring was the most stunning in the building!
Lisa actually surprised them with breakfast and some gifts. I think they all had a great time. I’m glad they invited me to tag along.
Here’s a couple of shots I took in San Francisco when going by a Tiffany’s window with my Iphone. With Lisa’s wedding approaching the place intrigued me.
Hope you enjoyed the post. It definitely was a little different. I’ll post the wedding as well a little later.

Oooo… so pretty. I can’t wait to see the rest.
What a cute idea! A moment you and your friends won’t ever forget…and I agree Lisa’s ring probably was the most stunning the room!
