Katie & Ryan
Here we go with Katie & Ryan’s wedding. It was at the Corley Mill House in Lexington, South Carolina.

Katie was absolutely beautiful. She reminded me of the leading lady in the movie Pearl Harbor.

Fresh out of the curlers!

I dropped in at the hotel Ryan and the guys were getting ready at.

Everyone was amazed the ties weren’t real. I guess I need one because I’m gonna tell a little secret…I cannot tie a tie. True story! Well I learned to tie an okay one from necessity when I waited tables. I can’t list tie tying on my mad skills resume!

I got an email the other day asking if I only take candid shots. Even though I prefer candids, I take all kinds, especially when there are 8 guys in a hotel room.

I arrived at the Corley Mill House and found Katie relaxing.

Seeing if she could get a sneak peek of Ryan’s arrival.

Ryan’s sister actually did Katie’s makeup. She did an excellent job!

Katie coming down the isle with her dad.

Super wide shot of the ceremony.

Ryan’s dad reading a scripture during the ceremony.

The long awaited kiss.

See, I do take formals! I encourage clients to keep it reasonable so we have plenty of creative time for the fun shots that focus on them. Ryan and Katie actually did their creative time a bit later in the day when the light wasn’t so harsh.

The first dance. They actually danced to a song Ryan wrote for Katie.

Here’s the best man, Brian, giving his speech. We were actually talking at the hotel about Macs vs PCs. Truth is, I actually use both.

Here are some of the photos from our creative session.

Garter and bouquet toss from the balcony/terrace.

How that garter was in focus is a bit of a mystery on this shot. Kinda cool. If you want to see who caught it check out the video at the bottom.

It’s the big exit…..great job with the bubbles!

Here’s a shot of Katie and Ryan in the car. There is actually a pretty cool still motion sequence in the video at the end! Congratulations you guys! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.

Here’s the video! It’s a lot of photos so be prepared!
